- Steve Westly – Former Controller for the State of California and prominent tech leader.
- Loretta Sanchez – United States Congress member from Orange County.
- International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 11
- National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 2462
Steve Westly served as California’s elected Controller, the State’s Chief Fiscal Officer from 2003-2007. In 2008 he served as California Co-Chair of the Obama for President campaign. Currently he is CEO of The Westly Group, one of the nation’s largest clean energy venture funds.
Loretta Sanchez astonished the political world by upsetting an entrenched Republican incumbent in an Orange County congressional district in 1996. She has gone on to serve with distinction, regarded as a leading authority on military and national security issues.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 11, represents 7,500 electrical workers in Southern California. They are an innovative 21st Century union that plays an important role in training workers for jobs in the clean energy future.
The National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 2462 represents postal workers in Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Encino and Tarzana. They are the second branch of the NALC to endorse Sherman so far. Brad Sherman has now been endorsed by 12 unions representing tens of thousands of workers and their families in CD30.
