The Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS), representing over 8,000 rank-and-file law enforcement officers in Los Angeles County, has endorsed Brad Sherman for re-election to the U.S. Congress.
“Brad Sherman is an outstanding champion for law enforcement and for safer neighborhoods,” stated Floyd Hayhurst, President of ALADS. “When local jurisdictions were making cutbacks, Brad Sherman worked to keep cops on the street in L.A. County. He also serves as the ranking Democrat on the Subcommittee on International Terrorism where he helps coordinate efforts to protect our communities and citizens from deadly terrorist attacks. L.A.’s Deputy Sheriffs and District Attorney Investigators are proud to endorse Congressman Brad Sherman.”
“Our frontline deputy sheriffs and DAI’s deserve our support and appreciation,” replied Congressman Sherman. “Our communities are safer today than they have been in decades, and much of the credit goes to the impressive efforts of our dedicated law enforcement officers who are working smarter and more efficiently than ever. It is a tremendous honor to have ALADS as a supporter of my candidacy.”
Brad Sherman has also been endorsed by Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca.
